In Diving for the ghost Galleon, Uncle Earl, an expert archaeologist, has been asked to help locate the remains of a Spanish galleon that sank over 350 years ago. He is accompanied by his nephew, Flynn, and Flynn’s best friend, Mia. While diving, Flynn and Mia become disoriented and realise they have been transported back in time.
They are captured and taken aboard a pirate ship. The pirates are following the galleon. The Atocha, with plans to attack, but both ships are sunk by a hurricane. Mia and Flynn dive into the sea to escape. Returning to their own time, Mia and Flynn now know where the missing treasure is located.
